A lot of AEW stars have made the move to join the Stamford-based promotion this year. Many stars who were formerly champions in the Jacksonville-based company decided to leave and go to WWE recently in hopes of better booking. However, a lot of them have actually been booked worse there as compared to their booking under Tony Khan's creative. Here are 3 former AEW stars who are being booked worse in WWE:#3. Rusev / MiroThe Bulgarian Brute made his return to WWE earlier this year following WrestleMania 41 and joined the RAW roster. However, ever since his return to the company he's only had one major feud with Sheamus and has failed to capture the Intercontinental Championship even after several attempts. He was also heavily featured on their programming and got to share the ring with main event stars like Jon Moxley, Bryan Danielson and Eddie Kingston. He recently got eliminated from the Last Time is Now Tournament by Jey Uso on SmackDown.#2. Aleister BlackAleister Black also made his return to WWE earlier this year after WrestleMania 41. He joined SmackDown and immediately made an impact by beating the Miz in his return match. Since then, he had a short feud with R-Truth and then started feuding with Damian Priest. He has also been paired with his real-life partner Zelina Vega now. However, he has failed to win any gold since returning and has not been featured on any PLEs. He recently failed to capture the Men's United States Championship due to interference. Back when he was in AEW, he was booked as a formidable star often competing on major pay-per-views. He even faced stars like CM Punk and Edge there and won the World Trios titles. #1. Rey FenixRey Fenix had a lot of momentum when he first joined WWE after leaving AEW. He even replaced Rey Mysterio at WrestleMania as El Grande Americano's opponent. However, he has not been booked as well since then. Instead of reuniting him with his brother Penta, WWE made him team up with Andrade on SmackDown for a short while. When he was in All Elite Wrestling, he used to rule the tag team division along with Penta as the Lucha Brothers. The duo had one of the best matches in the company's history against Young Bucks at AEW All Out 2021. Despite being one of the most talented stars on the roster, Fenix has been stuck in the lower mid-card in WWE. He received better booking when he was under Tony Khan's creative.
