Fans will eagerly await the upcoming edition of AEW Dynamite, as it will feature the aftermath of one of the most exciting pay-per-views the promotion has hosted recently, Full Gear 2025. The PLE was marked by multiple title changes, a shocking betrayal, and a return that had the crowd buzzing. Fans can expect it all to unfold on the flagship show this Wednesday.

This year's Continental Classic tournament is scheduled to start this week on Dynamite, as announced by the promotion on X earlier today. Moreover, the show airs before Thanksgiving weekend, so that fans can expect some special surprises. As President, Tony Khan oversees creative and will have to make some critical decisions that will set the stage for the road to World's End, AEW's next big pay-per-view. With that said, let's discuss three bold predictions for the post-Full Gear edition of Dynamite.

#3. The Death Rides will turn on Jon Moxley

The Death Riders were formed from the ashes of the Blackpool Combat Club after its leader, Jon Moxley, betrayed Bryan Danielson at All Out 2024. The ruthless Death Riders have since become an unstoppable faction under the One True King's leadership, but lately they have been facing setbacks. As they say, it starts from the top, and, ironically, the group's recent downfall is due to Jon Moxley coming up short on multiple occasions.

10 Shocking Injuries That Destroyed WWE Stars - Watch Here!

At Full Gear, the Purveyor of Violence suffered another loss to Conglomeration's Kyle O'Reilly, submitting to his ankle lock for the second time in a row. After the match, the former AEW World Champion delivered a passionate promo backstage, promising to keep fighting, but the look on the rest of the Death Riders' faces suggested they might be losing faith in their leader. When Moxley turned on Danielson, it was because he thought the American Dragon had gone soft. Similarly, the Riders could feel the same and might call for a change on this week's Dynamite by attacking Jon Moxley, considering him unfit to lead.

#2. Cope and Christian return to confront FTR

At Full Gear, FTR dethroned Brodido (Bandido and Brody King) to win the AEW World Tag Team titles for the third time in their careers. With the victory, the veteran tag team tied with The Young Bucks for the most title reigns in the history of the Jacksonville-based promotion. Brodido, meanwhile, is positioned for a rematch that could happen as soon as Dynamite this week. However, FTR may not have just the former champions to deal with, as arch-rivals Adam Copeland and Christian Cage could return to reignite their feud, with the championships now making the rivalry even bigger.

Both the Rated R Superstar and Cage have been absent from AEW programming since All Out, with Cope especially taking a hiatus to finish filming the new Percy Jackson season. Since the show is expected to premiere on December 10 this year, Cope's filming is likely complete, allowing him to return to All Elite Wrestling. This week's Dynamite would seem like the ideal platform for the former TNT Champion to confront FTR, setting up a tag title match at AEW World's End 2025.

#1. Samoa Joe vs Hangman Page rematch for the AEW World Championship

Samoa Joe defeating Hangman Page to win the AEW World Title at Full Gear was one of the most surprising twists of the event. The rivalry between the two began back at WrestleDream 2025, where Joe turned on the Anxious Millennial Cowboy after losing their match. Joe then won a four-way match to earn the No.1 Contender spot for Page's World title at Full Gear. During the buildup, the bout was made into a steel cage match, setting the stage for a possible end to the rivalry. However, things took a different turn at the pay-per-view when the Samoan Submission Machine pulled off a shocking victory after Hook betrayed Page by hitting him with the World title belt and turning heel in the process. Following the match, the Opps, joined by Hook and the Opps Dojo members, celebrated Joe's title victory and stood over a beaten and bloodied Hangman Page. Just then, Swerve Strickland's music played, and he came to the aid of the Cowboy, fending off the Opps.

At Dynamite, Tony Khan may have two options: he could surprise everyone by setting up an impromptu rematch between Joe and Page for the title, or he could plan an earlier, unthinkable team-up between Hangman and the returning Swerve Strickland, and they could challenge Joe and Hook to a tag team match.
